Specialist in environmental education
Camille joined the organization during the 2019 summer season with an internship as a master's student in environmental science. Camille was a representative of the Escouade des fermiers en ville project and of the Jeunes entrepreneurs bioalimentaires project in 2019 and ensured the development, coordination, logistics, communication and evaluation of these projects.
She remains available for the organization and participates in various tasks and projects in addition to animating educational activities during various events where Farm-to-School is present. Camille is passionate about travelling, the outdoors, nature and loves working with youths. She has worked in summer camps for 10 years and is also a canoe-camping expedition guide. She completed a bachelor's degree in Outdoor Intervention at the University of Quebec in Chicoutimi in 2015, where she developed expertise in leadership, risk management, project management, wilderness medicine and more. She also has traveled long-term on all continents, except Antarctica (who knows, maybe in the future!) Back in the Montreal region, she will complete in 2020 a master's degree in environmental sciences at the University of Quebec in Montreal. She specializes in environmental education, food security in the northern indigenous environment, urban agriculture and local agro-food systems. Always ready for new challenges, Camille is a positive, dynamic woman who loves being in a group.
