Education Program Coordinator
Laurence coordinates the organization's services in the targeted territory according to the projects in place. She is responsible for financial management and renewal of funding agreements while supervising the team under her responsibility so that the organization can continue to offer agricultural educational activities on the north shore of Montreal.
Laurence is an agrologist specialized in urban agriculture and market gardening. She has a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from Sherbrooke University, as well as a certificate in ecological agriculture from McGill University. She works as an environmental consultant for André-Grasset College and teaches urban agriculture at Victoriaville College. Laurence was 2017 awarded Porteur d’espoir from Jour de la Terre Québec, a reward for youth with outstanding environmental involvement. She has been involved in many environmental groups as well as in the Transition Towns Network. Laurence is passionate about environmental education and serves on the board of Environnement Jeunesse, an organization that promotes and supports youth action and leadership in the climate crisis.
